The Danish Erasmus+ National Agency has chosen to nominate, for the 2023 edition of the prestigious European Innovative Teaching Award (EITA) – the European competition that rewards the most innovative training projects funded by the Erasmus+ program – the MARHER project, a project idea on Heritage Marketing skills development conceived by i-strategies.

The project was funded in 2019 by the Erasmus+ programme and implemented until 2022 with an international project consortium composed of: the Danish-Italian Chamber of Commerce in Copenhagen, Southern Denmark University, Lithuania’s Vytautas Magnus University, Belgium’s Coopération Bancaire pour l’Europe, The Hive (Italy) and i-strategies.

“All we have done is to transfer, at the European level, the experience of “Marche Food and Wine Memories,” a project for the enhancement of regional culinary heritage, supported by the Ciù Ciù company, which has already received several international awards,” said Gianluca Vagnarelli, founder of i-strategies. “The idea is to train European companies to enhance their Cultural Heritage, whether corporate or territorial, to create added value for products and/or services. “And,” he concluded, “we have done this through e-learning and new innovative training solutions like gamification.

“We are particularly proud of the fact that a project that is very close to our hearts, and on which, in recent years, we have invested a lot as a company,” continued Walter Bartolomei, CEO of Ciù Ciù, “may have gone ‘school’ in Europe. As far as we are concerned, this gives us a further boost to continue investing in values such as authenticity and sustainability, which are the same values that animate “Marche Food and Wine Memories”.
